Hi Josh, it's Kim McDonald from the Good Earth Community Garden. I stopped by Melt the other day to inquire about scraps for composting and left a message there for you. Just let me know when and how much to pick up and if I need to bring buckets, etc. Also, do you know anyone who is in to building? We need to build some kind of shade-creating structure like a simple ramada, palapa, pergola, gazebo, etc. I have been seeing lots of ideas for building with used pallets and wonder if you know anybody who's ever done anything like this on a shoestring. We could probably get some lumber or material if we need to for the structural parts, since we don't want it to fall down. I think some kind of bamboo like material would be cool too, but don't know what kind of local material like that exists..Thanks! Kim

Josh,

I would ideally like to pick up a few more times, however I am unsure as to whether I can commit to a long term pick up schedule (at this point in time).

That being said, I definitely am interested in a few more pick ups. If it fits in with the current pick up schedule, I would be able to pick up more scraps this Sunday 4/26 and/ or Tuesday 4/28.

Thanks

Josh, I was wondering if you could clarify the schedule a little more. I am trying to determine if I am ready to pick scraps up on a regular basis, and don't really understand what you have written down as my role in the scrap schedule.

Thanks
