Oh, anything with people, soil, food, fruits, flowers, bees and Cleveland is beautiful! Cleveland Rocks! Bridges! Grows! Great job! And hey Brad - Gandhi is spelt as Ghandi in the quote. Maybe that correction?

"I'm a big believer in community gardens ... both because of their beauty and for providing access to fresh fruits and vegetables to so many communities across the nation and the world." -- Michelle Obama, speaking at USDA headquarters

Yeah! What a fun video for many different reasons: small-scale orchardism, cultural diversity, a snaphsot of Chicago farmers markets. That woman is a character! I'm interested in checking out the Eat this City, blog next.

Hi Brad. Do you know where I can point my friends from Mayfield to, if they wanted to join as community garden? Do you know some around there?
I wish there was a map of all the gardens on the OSU website. I desperately wanted this when I was zoning in on places while relocating.

What's this spring inspiring in you?

Hi Brad. That's great about the column and thanks for the plug.

Somewhat related to your column: Would you be interested in working with some other folks on this site to create a series of "How-to Guides" (i.e. how to become an urban farmer, how to start a community garden, how to start composting @ home, etc.)? Kind of a living document to hold the local resources and knowledge and connections for taking a more active role in the local food economy?

Let me know.
