Hello!
I attended the PolyCultures screening in Collinwood last night and met Jody Lathwell. She suggested that I get in touch with you regarding Cleveland Landbank topics. I know of a piece of landbank property on the near west side that I would love to turn into a community garden. I was hoping that you along with NPI would be able to help me take the proper steps to get the ball rolling for that. Thanks!!!
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Our Orchard was approved and Morgan was out last week to test the soil. Results should be back in two weeks. My husband Darren have been a little busy coordinating the Archwood Street Fair for the 6th but would love to meet and discuss ideas after that. Let me know what day and time works best for you.
Hi Bobbi-
Thats so funny that yo picked the apple tree at w3rd and jefferson - my friend and i were locating an apple press in hopes of cider making and i drove by one morning and they were gone! what a big beautiful tree - i wonder what story it has (there used to be homes all along west3rd before I-490 as i understand it - all victim to the "urban renewal" movement..
I'm glad someone used them and they didnt go to waste!
Hi Bobbi, thank you for all the great work you're doing. NatureHood is rolling along, thanks to your support. Hope to see you around town, and of course, Happy Holidays!
