Cleveland City Council passes legislation on 11/9/09 paving way for creation of Stanard Farm

Cleveland City Council passed legislation on 11/9/09 paving the way for the creation of Stanard Farm, on the site of the former Stanard Elementary School. This property will be conveyed from the City of Cleveland land bank to the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities for the development of an urban farm to provide employment and training opportunities for adults with disabilities, while growing fresh local food for folks in the city of Cleveland.

Rich, Dan and Chris from CCBDD wish to thank the City of Cleveland, Councilman Joe Cimperman, Morgan Taggart and Marie Barni from OSU Extension, Jamie Baker and Cory Riordan from St. Clair Superior Development Corp and countless others for their help and support.
